Welcome to the Break the Silence project website! This project is still in its infancy, so please excuse me as I sort it all out.
This main page is where you’ll see new submissions as well as any announcements or updates from the project. Please check out the other pages to find out more about it and other projects.
Go to the community site to connect with others. Many people have already expressed interest in being able to reach out and speak with others. This is the place to do it!
There is also a poll up on the community site. Please go and vote on whether you think comments should be enabled on the submissions.
Most importantly, remember this project is dependent on you. Share your voice by submitting and letting others know about it too!

Break the Silence Project encourages the exploration of issues surrounding sexual violence through creative means in order to promote self-expression, to provide a possibility for healing and community-building, and to further raise public awareness and dialogue on these subjects.
Help raise awareness about sexual violence. Share your story, write a poem or a song, make a drawing or painting, take a picture, cut and paste... Whatever works for you.

WOW, I didn’t think this site would make an impact to me as much as it’s doing right now. ALL the pieces are wonderful!!, and it’s making me want to add more… I think this was a great way such a great way to help other break the silence. I’m so thankful to you, and you are helping so many people, by letting them have this chance. If there is anything i can help with other than submitting things, please, PLEASE let me know.
